Cognitive health,
made personal and political.
EverThrive serves on the event-day committee for local Alzheimer's Association walk events and advocates directly with state officials on aging and dementia policy. Both matter — the families walking and the legislators voting.

Raised through Alzheimer's Association walk events we've helped support — funding care, research, and resources for families affected by dementia.
Cognitive health is no longer adjacent to our mission — it is core to it. The families navigating Alzheimer's deserve advocates who show up on walk day and at the legislature.
Event-day committee
EverThrive serves on the event-day committee for local Alzheimer's Association walk events. We help plan and run the logistics that make those days possible — from setup and route coordination to volunteer management and participant support. It's the behind-the-scenes work that lets hundreds of walkers show up and focus on the people they're walking for.
Policy advocacy
Separately, EverThrive advocates on the Alzheimer's Association's behalf — engaging directly with state officials and legislators on aging and dementia-related policy. We carry the conversations from the walk route into the offices where funding, care standards, and caregiver support get decided. Advocacy that doesn't stop at awareness.
Speaking up at Cary Town Hall.
EverThrive took the podium at the Cary FY2027 Budget Public Hearing to urge local leaders to invest in senior wellness — from cognitive health programming to community engagement for older adults.
That testimony contributed to $150,000+ raised for community programs supporting older adults across the Triangle. Advocacy that turns into funding, and funding into services.
